In accordance with the official letter of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Türkiye will host the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in 2026.

Within this scope, student nominations will be made from our department to contribute to the COP31 process.

Nominated students are expected to:

• Have sufficient proficiency in English for effective communication,

• Possess strong communication skills to represent both our university and country,

• Demonstrate interest and awareness in climate change and environmental issues,

• Have no chronic health conditions that would prevent participation in intensive programs and field activities.

Students who wish to apply must complete the EK-2.xlsx form in full and submit it in person to the Department Secretariat by February 18, 2026, at the latest.
